end of Jeremiah
I finished reading the book of Jeremiah today. Most of the last chapters are doom and gloom with Israel being taken into captivity but the last few verses are hopeful in that it skips ahead to an imprisoned king who was rescued by an oppressor. He seems to still be a prisoner but he has some measure of release and provision.

crying
Sarah had a dream that I was crying. This is what I wrote in response:
Crying
We all fall down
Break our hearts
Bring us to our knees
In prayer
There is so much brokenness
We cry for restoration
Only Jesus
Is the hope for the world
We wrestle not
against flesh and blood
not against our humanness
but against the evil outside
We invite Holy Spirit
To infuse our hearts and lives
To bring the sleeping giant to life
That the dead bones would live again
Revolution, restoration
Outpouring, overflow
Let Your Love and Unity
Move in the land
And bring life
Crying
We all fall down
Break our hearts
Bring us to our knees
In prayer
There is so much brokenness
We cry for restoration
Only Jesus
Is the hope for the world
We wrestle not
against flesh and blood
not against our humanness
but against the evil outside
We invite Holy Spirit
To infuse our hearts and lives
To bring the sleeping giant to life
That the dead bones would live again
Revolution, restoration
Outpouring, overflow
Let Your Love and Unity
Move in the land
And bring life

after cry
Yesterday this song was running through my head:
Today it is this one:
The cry was an amazing experience. I especially liked being in the tech booth as it was like trying to follow the spirit of the Lord, trying to follow what was going on stage.
