Just one yes
Just one yes, is all that it takes
To change a life
To change a heart
Just one yes, will open a door
Open the eyes of the blind
Open the heart of a sinner
We bow our hearts and we bow our knees
To the One True King
Flood this place with Your rivers now that we say Yes.
We say come
And change our lives
We say Yes.
Just one yes
And the past is left behind
Never to be seen again
Just one yes
Heaven's glory comes
Darkness is pushed back
And freedom reigns.

Joanna
There once was a girl named Joanna
Pure and true
Creative genius
To Australia she flew
A restart
A renewal
A brave new world
A whole new life
God went too, every step of the way
Piloting you,
He pilots you still.
And as you open your heart to Him,
He will continue to fill you, heal you, make you who He created you to be.
As you seek Him, He will unlock your gifts in ways you never dreamed possible.
God doesn't have "forsake" in the vocabulary of His personality
His love is neverending
For the woman Joanna.

end of Jeremiah
I finished reading the book of Jeremiah today. Most of the last chapters are doom and gloom with Israel being taken into captivity but the last few verses are hopeful in that it skips ahead to an imprisoned king who was rescued by an oppressor. He seems to still be a prisoner but he has some measure of release and provision.

crying
Sarah had a dream that I was crying. This is what I wrote in response:
Crying
We all fall down
Break our hearts
Bring us to our knees
In prayer
There is so much brokenness
We cry for restoration
Only Jesus
Is the hope for the world
We wrestle not
against flesh and blood
not against our humanness
but against the evil outside
We invite Holy Spirit
To infuse our hearts and lives
To bring the sleeping giant to life
That the dead bones would live again
Revolution, restoration
Outpouring, overflow
Let Your Love and Unity
Move in the land
And bring life
Crying
We all fall down
Break our hearts
Bring us to our knees
In prayer
There is so much brokenness
We cry for restoration
Only Jesus
Is the hope for the world
We wrestle not
against flesh and blood
not against our humanness
but against the evil outside
We invite Holy Spirit
To infuse our hearts and lives
To bring the sleeping giant to life
That the dead bones would live again
Revolution, restoration
Outpouring, overflow
Let Your Love and Unity
Move in the land
And bring life

after cry
Yesterday this song was running through my head:
Today it is this one:
The cry was an amazing experience. I especially liked being in the tech booth as it was like trying to follow the spirit of the Lord, trying to follow what was going on stage.

Snowglobe
Crack our shells. We walk around like slow globes keeping everyone at a distance and all our "stuff" on the inside. Crack us Lord. Break us into who you want us to be. Help us to release control of our globes.
